Draft Sex Establishment Policy for consultation 18 December 2010

Lewisham Council’s licensing team have published a draft sex establishment policy in response to the amendments made to the law last year and are inviting comments. Let us know if you have any comments or contact the Licensing team directly on the email address linked to below.

The Licensing Authority has prepared a draft Sex Establishment Policy with a view to adoption by mid 2011.

The Sex Establishment Policy sets out the general approach the Council will take when it considers applications for new licences made in a accordance with Schedule 3 of the LGMPA 1982 as amended by section 27 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009

The Authority is undertaking an extensive consultation with residents and interested parties and we would welcome all comments… Anybody resident or with interests within the Borough can respond.

Should you wish to make any comment on this policy, please forward your response to Licensing Services by 11th March 2011.
