Film censorship chaos 26 August 2009

An unusual story on slashdot.org and the BBC caught my eye yesterday.

Apparently a 20 year plus legal blunder means that prosecutions over illegal age-unsuitable film and video sales won’t be valid. I’ve asked Lewisham Council’s trading standards officers about it and they are aware of the problem and are working on trying to get it clarification from the government.
